ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) are tethered underwater vehicles designed to operate in environments where human intervention would be difficult, costly or dangerous. Controlled remotely via an umbilical cable, these systems make it possible to inspect, document and monitor submerged structures with a level of precision and safety that is difficult to achieve with professional divers, reducing intervention time and operational risk.

In Switzerland, professional ROVs are used mainly for managing water and energy infrastructure: inspecting dams, penstocks, headrace tunnels and water intakes at hydroelectric plants, checking bridge piers and submerged structures, and verifying the condition of boats and jetties on the country's main lakes. They are also essential tools for scientific research in limnology, for monitoring aquatic ecosystems, for search and rescue operations in lakes and rivers, for surveillance of sensitive sites, and for inspecting fish farms.

Our ROVs are equipped with high-definition cameras, LED lighting, positioning systems and, depending on the model, manipulator arms, sonar and data-collection sensors, ensuring reliable footage and surveys even in low visibility, currents or deep water. The rugged construction and IP rating allow continuous use in demanding environments while keeping a compact footprint for fast transport and deployment in the field.

In this category you will find a selection of professional ROVs suited to public authorities, hydraulic engineering companies, hydroelectric plant operators, research institutes, security operators and professional divers, with the technical support you need to choose the system best suited to your operational requirements.
